IMATS 2019
I was incredibly honoured to be included on this years lineup at IMATS London! This event has been so prestigious in the makeup industry for years now, I attended last year as a visitor, but to see myself up there on the promotional banner amongst such industry icons honestly blew my mind.
I created demos on both the Saturday and the Sunday, Saturday I was with Kryolan UK where I created a 5 hour airbrush body paint using their Airbrush system and Nebula range, amongst other incredible Kryolan products. I wanted to create a fairytale look, and made an effort to create the piece without using any black. It was a great day, being able to meet and talk to lots of people. The fabulous photographer Leon Sokoletski thankfully managed to stop us for a photo, and has possibly created one of my favourite ever photographs of a piece of my work! My model was the wonderful Mel Croft whom it is always an honour to work with.
On the Sunday I was working with the lovely Get Set Go Bags, creating a demo on their stand. I decided to go with something Avengers themed this time, as characters are always a good crowd puller. My wonderful model for this paint was Axel.
It was an amazing weekend. After watching IMATS from afar for many years, I am still overwhelmed that I was able to bring my art to the event to showcase. I am very thankful for both Kryolan UK and Get Set Go Bags for having me on board. <3
